Website Update

Welcome to the 2017-18 Season. Over the summer I’ve introduced a few changes to the website, each of which affects captains:

Password Reset

To improve security, I’ve upgraded the encryption we use when storing your passwords. Unfortunately, that means captains will need to request a password reset. You can do that by following the “Forgotten Password” link which you’ll see when you go to log in.

You should be sent an email with a new password which you can change to something more memorable after logging in. Some emails addresses don’t seem to like the emails the system sends, so if you don’t receive that within 10 minutes or so, then do get in touch with me.

Adding Players

Once you’re logged in, you’ll see a new option to add a player to your club list. To do this, you first search for the player in the list of players already known to the league and to the ECF. If they are found, you can select them from the list and add them to your club. If not, you can supply an estimated grade and add them to your club.

Please get in touch if you run into any issues with the website. If you get error messages, it would be particularly helpful if you could include them along with details of what you did in order to reach that error message.
